Tax appeals will be based on comparables as of July 1, 2009.  Grievance day in Eldred in 2010 is April 24.  People in our community that live out of state should submit tax appeals two weeks before grievance day and do not have to be present on that day to appeal their taxes.  Note: Classes of property in Timber Lake are "real property", "residual property " and "waste property".  Any property that is underwater is "waste property" and can be appealed at such.  See links page for forms and more explanations of how to appeal.
